Explore the world of canopy denizens!

We invite our visitors to a unique and exciting trip. This study trail introduces forest from an uncommon point of view: the canopy walk gives insight to the life of the foliage. You can learn about the most common birds of this place, including the cavity-nesting species of old stands. The artificial nestboxes installed along the canopy walk offer nesting sites for these species. At the levels of the arrival tower the wildlife of the certain forest layers are revealed. Downmost you can get to know the inhabitants of forest floor, then in the middle the organisms of the undergrowth are shown. The topmost level holds not only a great view, but illustrates the complex connections and relationships that operate forest ecosystem. Furthermore, it sheds light on what makes a forest really valuable, from the view of conservation.
