7 – Common Starling (Sturnus vulgaris)
Prefers parklands and forest edges, where it nests in hollow trees. The nest is made of dry grass, plant fibers and leaves, with a little hair or feathers added. Feeds on insects, crops, and fruits, too. It is a short-distance migrant, spends winter in the Mediterranean.
